The HALO EMERG and HALO EMERG EVAC are fully self-sufficient emergency lighting and evacuation systems that activate automatically in the event of a power failure — precisely when they are needed most. The high-lumen HALO LED strip delivers maximum light output at full power for up to five hours (depending on configuration). When integrated with the EVAC system, high-intensity directional red pulses clearly indicate safe evacuation routes, helping to prevent confusion and reduce panic during critical situations.

The HALO battery backup system consists of three primary components:

• An LED strip housed within a robust aluminium channel and cover

• A dedicated battery backup unit

• A HALO T-piece

 

All components are seamlessly connected using HALO adaptors, ensuring easy assembly, flexibility, and interchangeability where required.  The battery backup unit includes an integrated test button and status indicator light. This allows users to verify system functionality under normal operating conditions.

• The indicator displays red when mains power is active and the battery is charging.

• When the test function is activated, the emergency lighting remains energized until the test is manually terminated, enabling full verification of the system’s rated emergency duration capacity.

The HALO EMERG LED Strip Lighting comes available in 3 length options, namely 1 Metre, 1.5 Metres and 2 Metres. Each solution has the universal HALO adaptors on the end which further allows the addition of extra LED Strip segments to increase the overall length.
